| Anger and condemnation of the United States’ use of its veto power in the Security Council to obstruct the Algerian draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza was not limited to dozens of countries and international human rights organizations, but rather it exploded inside America and caused a media and public uproar and protests, as was evident in press reports. And also protests in front of the building of the American mission to the United Nations, despite the attempt of the regional spokesman for the US State Department to absorb the anger by presenting arguments and justification for Washington’s only veto objecting to stopping the genocide against the Palestinians.
Critical readings of the American position extended to its media, in a remarkable symbolic development that had not been raised before since the beginning of the genocide. The New York Times wrote, in an article published last Wednesday, that the use of the American “veto” against the draft resolution submitted by Algeria to The UN Security Council, for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, isolated Washington.

| US State Department to absorb the anger by presenting arguments and justification for Washington’s only veto objecting to stopping the genocide against the Palestinians.
The article that appeared on the front page included: “This is the third time that Washington has used its veto power to prevent the issuance of a resolution demanding a halt to the fighting in Gaza,” considering that Washington’s position represents “America’s isolation in its continued and strong support for the Zionist entity.”
The famous newspaper stopped at parts of the speech of Algeria's ambassador to the United Nations, Ammar Ben Jama, that day, which was his saying that the United States' veto "means approval of the brutal violence and collective punishment imposed on the Palestinians."
The author of the article believes that the “American diplomatic maneuver,” meaning their vote against the Algerian draft resolution, “comes at a time when humanitarian organizations are warning that urgent aid is needed to save a population suffering from severe malnutrition and the spread of infectious diseases,” and at a time when “13 A member of the Security Council was in favor of the resolution drafted by Algeria, and Britain abstained from voting.
It is logically certain that the widespread condemnation raised by the American position will have a profound impact on the American administration at the psychological level, and at the level of decision-making mechanisms and mentalities at the Security Council level, given the consensus it has created even between opposites in politics, in a way that was not expected, despite the fact that Some Arab and Western positions were not as sharp and condemning as they should be, or as required by human values. Rather, they seemed modest, using less harsh expressions, and avoiding strong terms of condemnation.
Samuel Warburg maneuvers
The US State Department tried to justify its position in the face of the “flood” of condemnation that besieged it, isolated it from the world, and placed it in the image of a participant in genocide more than before. It stated through its regional spokesman, Samuel Warburg, in a press interview on the subject, that in the previous days we had been talking. We negotiate, consult and propose some elements with Algeria, which is preparing to present the content of the draft resolution before the Security Council, but this country refused,” he said, referring to Algeria’s marking of the draft resolution in blue, which is not subject to amendment.
Despite this, the diplomat continues, “There are many details and common points agreed upon between the two countries, which we must build on, and they will be the subject of an American draft resolution that includes all these details.”
In the same context of condemnations of the American position, the Executive Director of Doctors Without Borders in the United States, Avril Benoit, described "the repeated obstruction of ceasefire decisions by the United States as unacceptable." She said in a statement during a roundtable with other leaders of humanitarian organizations: “The United States in the UN Security Council is effectively undermining all efforts aimed at providing aid,” noting that “statements are one thing and actions are another.”

| The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the Zionist occupation committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 92 martyrs and 123 injuries during the past 24 hours.
She explained that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
Thus, the toll of the Zionist aggression rises to 29,606 martyrs and 69,737 injuries since the seventh of last October.
Since the start of the war of extermination, the Zionist occupation forces have committed 2,581 massacres, resulting in more than 36,000 martyrs and missing persons, including about 11,000 whose injuries required their transfer abroad for further treatment

| A lion on Gaza and an ostrich in the face of the expansion of settlements.
Never before has American arrogance and Washington’s bias toward the entity been so exposed as it has been since October 7, to the point that the mouthpiece of the free people of the world whom the Algerian representative spoke about in the Security Council says, “Gaza liberated us...”
Yes, proud Gaza has removed the last remaining makeup from the ugly face of the American administration. The latter can no longer fool the world by trying to wear the mask of democracy and humanity.
At a time when it supplies the entity with weapons even without the approval of Congress, and gives it political and diplomatic cover by exploiting the UN “veto” several times, it is satisfied with expressions of denunciation and condemnation, or is the entity’s intention to launch a project to build 3,000 new settlements in the West Bank? John Kirby, the US National Security Council’s coordinator for strategic communications in The White House, which cried on the day of the invasion of Ukraine and did not bat an eyelid in the face of more than 30,000 Palestinian civilian martyrs, merely said, “This is not consistent with international law.”
The same goes for Anthony Blinken, the American Secretary of State, who rushed to sign a blank statement to grant weapons to the entity after Congress’ refusal. He also contented himself with denouncing, even though the expansion of settlements completely eliminates the lie of the two-state solution, which the American administration has been promoting for weeks in an attempt to show a little balance. In this file, it is nothing but a maneuver to throw ashes on the eyes, so how can we remain silent about the expansion of settlement and the call for the establishment of a Palestinian state, where will it be established, between heaven and earth, for example?
Washington is immersed in multiple dilemmas: the Ukrainian quagmire, Gaza, and internal anger over cutting billions of dollars from Americans’ money and giving them to Kiev and Tel Aviv. This is in the glory of a presidential election year in which the chances of Donald Trump returning to the White House are increasing unless the deep state signs him with judicial files, and yet the war has been lost. It is an important war of public opinion, not only internally, but on a worldwide level, and in the new world order that Gaza precipitated, America will not have the upper hand in it.

| Beirut: Lebanese Parliament member for Hezbollah, Hassan Fadlallah, said that the attack launched by the Israeli occupation army on Monday on the city of Baalbek “will not remain without a response,” stressing that the party “will surprise the Israeli enemy.” He added in a statement seen by Anatolia, “The enemy (Israel) threatened Lebanon, and we tell it that the fire of resistance is burning and will confront any attack on our country.” He pointed out that “the enemy thinks that he can regain his prestige through raids on Baalbek (in the Bekaa Governorate, eastern Lebanon) and villages today,” pointing out that “the resistance will be creative in finding responses to the enemy’s persistence in its aggression against villages and towns.” He added: “The end of this war will only be achieved through victory.” Fadlallah’s statements came in response to the Israeli occupation army’s announcement of carrying out raids on sites it said were belonging to “Hezbollah” in the Bekaa Governorate, and after Israeli fighters targeted a farm in the vicinity of Baalbek, in a dangerous development of attacks deep inside Lebanon, far from the border confrontations that have been taking place since October 8. The first is 2023. While eyewitnesses reported that 3 owners of the targeted farm were injured, no official statement was issued by Hezbollah or the Lebanese authorities, until 12:25 (UTG). Baalbek is about 100 km from Lebanon's southern border, and is considered a Hezbollah stronghold in eastern Lebanon on the border with Syria. Earlier Monday, Hezbollah announced that the air defense unit, at 9:20 a.m. this morning, “shot down a large Israeli Hormuz 450 drone with a surface-to-air missile over the Iqlim al-Tuffah area, and it was seen landing in Al Ain.” “The abstract”, while no Israeli statement was issued about this operation.

| Washington - The American media continued to deliberately ignore the consequences of the administration of President Joe Biden’s support for the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on the American interior, and the case of pilot Aaron Bushnell setting himself on fire to death in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington, in protest against his country’s position on the aggression, was the latest chapter of this policy.
Ignorance has continued since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of nearly 30,000 Palestinians and the injury of tens of thousands of others, with full American support for Israel, whether in terms of armament or in international forums, the most important of which are the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice.
The American media, for the most part, does not address the consequences of the Joe Biden administration’s support for the Israeli aggression inside America, and reduces the impact of the societal movement that included many government decision-making centers and major American universities.
With critics of Israeli policies and those calling for an end to Washington's support for the aggression on Gaza being accused of "anti-Semitism" or sympathy for what they call "terrorism," the American media moved to suggest that Bushnell may have been "mentally ill or mentally ill."
It has become difficult for the traditional American media, especially supporters of Israel within it, to believe that ordinary people might only care about the mass killing and suffering of men, women and children in the Gaza Strip, without being “anti-Semites or terrorists” as they describe them

| Media: International affairs expert Asal Arad tweeted - via the X platform - surprised by the position of 4 of the major American and international news networks. It was monitored by the New York Times, the Washington Post, Reuters, and CNN, all of which chose or agreed not to ask the question, “Why did Aaron Bushnell burn himself?” when covering the news Al-
Hayat.
Before setting himself on fire, Bushnell said in front of the embassy, “I will organize a very violent protest now, but my protest is not large compared to what the Palestinians are experiencing at the hands of their occupiers.”

| considered the countries supporting Israel to be partners in the genocide it is carrying out in the Gaza Strip, while the Egyptian Foreign Minister expressed his country's hope that the ceasefire negotiations in the Strip, led by Qatar, would succeed in reaching an agreement before the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
In his opening speech - Friday - at the third edition of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in the city of Antalya (south), Erdogan stressed that what is happening in the Gaza Strip, which is inevitably exposed to an Israeli war, is not a war but a genocide.
Erdogan pointed out that the Western powers that unconditionally support Israel are considered partners in the bloodshed in Gaza through their hypocritical policies. "Not only were children, women and civilians brutally murdered in Gaza, but the trust of billions of people in the international system, justice and law was also destroyed," he said.
He stressed that the international community could not repay its debt to the Palestinian people except by establishing the State of Palestine. He stressed that the establishment of this independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital is a must, and expressed Turkey's readiness to bear responsibility, including participating in a guarantor mechanism.
The Turkish President criticized the current international system, saying that it “has lost its meaning and is no longer more than a slogan, and lacks basic concepts such as solidarity, justice, and trust, and cannot fulfill its minimum responsibilities,” considering that Gaza is “the place where the banner of the bankruptcy of the international system was raised,” reiterating his call. The international community supports Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
Egypt and the obsession with displacement: For his part, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri affirmed his country’s refusal to liquidate the Palestinian issue and plans to empty Palestine of its residents by sending them to Egypt and Jordan, considering that one of the most important problems in Gaza is the displacement of Palestinians in violation of international law.

| A Belgian politician calls on the world to classify Israel as a racist state. The Secretary-General of the Belgian Labor Party, Peter Mertens, called on the international community to define Israel as a colonial power, an apartheid state, and an occupying force, stressing the need for the international community to dismantle these elements “because there is no future for the region without dismantling these three elements.” ".
In statements to Al Jazeera Net, Mertens considered what was happening in the Gaza Strip “the first genocidal war, which has been continuing for more than 4 months live and on television,” adding that the situation in Gaza had become “inhumane and unlivable, and that the Israeli bombing had destroyed all The infrastructure is there."
Mertens denounced some people's demands for the 1.4 million displaced people in Rafah to return to the north, explaining that there is no life there because of Israel's policy of starvation, destroying health facilities, sabotaging the future of education, and bombing schools and universities coupled with a systematic policy of destroying Palestinian history.
He added that Israel also targeted the destruction of cultural centers, museums, libraries, and everything that refers to the cultural heritage of Palestinians and Palestine in Gaza, noting the spread of video clips of some settlers attacking humanitarian aid convoys heading to Gaza.
Western complicity The Belgian politician said that he does not find an explanation for the reason why Israel always escapes punishment for the crimes it commits throughout 75 years of colonization, occupation, and seizure of Palestinian lands. Adding that he was present at the sessions of the International Court of Justice that received the lawsuit filed by South Africa before the court.
He also considered that Pretoria had succeeded in bringing international attention to The Hague, and that its claim was practical, and was based on facts and documents documenting the war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza. Israel demanded the necessity of adhering to the United Nations resolution issued in 1980 requiring the return of all occupied territories to their Palestinian people, recalling that it did not implement the resolution and was not subjected to any action or punishment.

| At dawn on the second day of the war, Maryam Al-Kafarneh (25 years old) saw from the window of her house raining “warning” leaflets dropped by the Israeli army, calling on people to leave northern Gaza. Before she and her family could evacuate the house, in conjunction with text messages received on the phone specifying the route of displacement and a time limit of ten minutes, the bombing had begun. Maryam carried a small bag containing identification documents and an amount not exceeding $50, and she moved towards the door with her husband and two daughters before they changed their clothes: “We will go back and get our things, the important thing is that I see my daughters,” even though she feared that this would be the last time she would see her home.
Maryam married her cousin, Ali Al-Kafarna, at the age of 19, and they lived in a small apartment filled with the laughter of their two daughters, Sham (five years old) and Nihad (three years old), in her uncle’s building in the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip. When the “commotion” began, as Maryam describes it, she did not have the opportunity to check on her family and brothers who lived near them: “Our area is near the border with the settlements surrounding Gaza. We see with our own eyes the apartheid wall, and in every war we are bombed.” In the wars of 2014 and 2021, the building in which Maryam lived, and the building of her family next door, were severely damaged. Some traces of destruction were visible in the two buildings even after reconstruction and restoration.
Maryam, her husband, and their two daughters took a friend’s car, along with five other people, to a relative’s apartment in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City, about 10 kilometers away from them. Maryam did not have time to coordinate her displacement with her family[1] who were displaced to the Al-Faluga area in Jabalia camp. The car took the Salah al-Din Road, which the occupation army designated as a “safe corridor,” where hundreds of displaced people walked, including pregnant women, the elderly, and children. Maryam saw the familiar faces of her neighborhood people walking barefoot after rushing out to save their lives, and some of them were hit by flying shrapnel and fell to the ground without anyone being able to help them: “I could hear the sound of bombing, and I said, is it possible that this hit my house? (..) Every time we leave a street, you see us, our fear is that we will be martyred in the street next to it.”
Maryam and her family spent one day in Beach Camp before the mosque next to her apartment was bombed, coinciding with the escalation of military attacks on the camp from Israeli naval boats. They decided to move to another apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, adjacent to Al-Shati camp, where it would be closer to its people, who resided in one of the UNRWA schools in the Al-Faluja area, and they could cooperate in managing food and drink. Maryam and her family arrived in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood after walking three kilometers to live there in an apartment alongside three displaced families. The next day, Maryam received pictures of the rubble of their house covering the belongings they wanted to return to get; Winter clothes, children's books, and other identification papers. Another day later, the occupation bombed the residential square and the apartment to which they were displaced

| Ramallah: The Palestinian
reign Ministry said on Tuesday that Israel had begun its “aggression” against the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, without announcing the move or waiting for anyone’s permission.
This came in a statement by the Ministry, in which it condemned the “escalation of bloody bombardment and systematic destruction operations” carried out by the Israeli army against the city of Rafah, without heeding international warnings of the danger of invading the city, which includes millions of displaced people from the north and center of the Gaza Strip.
The Foreign Ministry’s statement was issued after several neighborhoods and homes in the city of Rafah were exposed on Monday evening to an Israeli bombing that targeted homes above the heads of their owners, resulting in “a number of martyrs and wounded.”
The ministry added: “Israel began its aggression against the city of Rafah, and did not wait for anyone’s permission, nor did it announce it to avoid international reactions.”
She considered that “the escalation in the bloody bombing in Rafah is a serious beginning to expand the occupation’s crimes there, despite the presence of more than a million displaced people in the region, without giving any consideration to their lives, and in official Israeli disregard for international and American demands to protect them and secure their full humanitarian needs.”
She explained that “the expansion of genocide crimes to include Rafah coincides with the beginning of the tour of US Secretary of State (Anthony) Blinken, who confirmed in his recent statements the absence of any serious Israeli plan to protect civilians in Rafah and demanded that Israel do so,” according to the same statement.
